Mar Vista is our home base, so if you need a notary in 90066 today, it’s usually possible, often within the hour. You call or book, we come to your door, and a few documents take 10 to 20 minutes once we’re sitting down.
We do this all day across Mar Vista: on Mar Vista Hill, in the Mar Vista Tract, in East Mar Vista and Westdale, and in the apartments along Venice, Inglewood and Centinela. Here’s what makes a same-day visit go smoothly.
Call for today, book online for later
For a same-day or same-evening appointment, call (424) 484-9268. Tell us the address, what you’re signing and how many people are signing. For tomorrow or later, booking online works well.
The three things that hold up a visit
- The document isn’t printed. A California notary can’t notarize from a phone or laptop. Print every page, including any notary page that came with it.
- Blanks are still empty. Fill in names, dates and addresses before we arrive. We can’t notarize a document with blanks that should be completed.
- The ID doesn’t work. It must be current or issued within the last five years. Check it now; see acceptable ID.
What Mar Vista neighbors book us for
- Grant deeds, refinances and HELOCs on Mar Vista homes
- Trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives
- Travel consent letters before a child’s trip
- Affidavits for schools, insurers and agencies
- Documents for family abroad, often followed by an apostille
Apartments and parking
Street parking is usually fine in Mar Vista. For an apartment, send the gate or buzzer code and unit number, and tell us if there’s a guest space.
What it costs
California sets the notary fee at $15 per notarized signature until January 1, 2027, when it rises to $20. Our travel fee is on top and is lowest from 8 AM to 7 PM on weekdays. See our Policies, and our Mar Vista notary page for everything we do in 90066.
