Palms Notary (90034): Quick Signings for Apartment Renters

Palms is one of the densest apartment neighborhoods on the Westside, and most notary visits in 90034 are short: one or two documents for a renter who needs them signed before a deadline. We come to the apartment, and it’s often done in 10 minutes.

What Palms renters usually need notarized

  • Affidavits for a school, insurer or agency: proof of residence, a statement about a lost item, a sworn letter.
  • Lease guaranties when a parent or relative is guaranteeing the lease and the landlord wants it notarized.
  • Authorizations letting a roommate or relative act for you while you’re away.
  • Vehicle and DMV paperwork where the form has a notary section.
  • Documents for family abroad, sometimes followed by an apostille.

Make it a 10-minute visit

  1. Print the document. California notaries can’t notarize from a screen.
  2. Fill in every blank, but don’t sign a sworn statement until we’re there.
  3. Have your ID out. It must be current or issued within the last five years; a foreign passport works too. See acceptable ID.
  4. If roommates are signing too, get everyone home at the same time.

Getting us to your door

Parking along Motor, Overland and National is tight in the evening. Tell us about guest parking, and send the gate or buzzer code and unit number when you book.

What it costs

California sets the notary fee at $15 per notarized signature ($20 from January 1, 2027). Our travel fee is on top and is lowest 8 AM to 7 PM on weekdays. Several people signing in one visit is the cheapest way to do it. See our Policies.

If something is in dispute with your landlord, talk to a tenant rights organization before signing anything sworn. More about 90034 on our Palms notary and Palms mobile notary pages.
